I can't believe that it's already November! Sophie dressed up as Cinderella for Halloween (her very favorite princess). Thank you mom for making the costume!! On Friday Sophie and I went out in search of "glass slippers," which turned out to be silver ballet flats that she can wear again with her Christmas dress and other dresses for church. Sophie loves her "glass slippers" and continues to ask to wear them, even without the Cinderella dress.
Here she is showing off her special Cinderella shoes.
Sophie's daycare had a Halloween party on Saturday afternoon -- here is she is playing a"fishing" game.
We took Sophie out to a few of the neighbors' houses to trick-or-treat. At each house, she would get shy and not really say anything. But, as soon as we walked away, she would say "mommy, I trick or treat." It was so cute. We actually came back into our house to hand out treats after visiting 3 houses with her. Five minutes after being home, she told Allen, "daddy (c)'ome-on - trick or treat." Allen took her out to a couple more houses before dinner. She was much more into the trick or treating than I expected! She also enjoyed watching us hand out candy at the door.
